



The plot is good, but a bit predictable (gets a little wierd in the end). Justice Smith is good and Bill Nighy is Bill Nighy, but the rest are not great and mostly not believable (they're not terrible though), fortunately they don't get that much screentime. The human actors are unfortunately this movies weak point. Pikachu is adorable and Ryan Reynolds is really great. Raise your hand if you have fond, childhood memories of Pokmon: The First Movie It was recently remade as Mewtwo Strikes Back. It's funny, the visual effects are amazing and it has heart when it wants to. Pokmon: The First Movie is now free to watch on Pokmon TV. This movie is the best game adaptation I've seen to date. The 1999 film recently made its way onto iTunes, albeit at a cost, and is also up to purchase or rent on.

I'm not saying you need large amount of Pokémon knowledge to watch this movie, but if you need to google Mewtwo or Psyduck to know what they are, then this movie is most likely not for you. Pokémon: The First Movie, however, is currently among the Pokémon TV app offerings. 2014 Pokmon the Movie: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction. 2015 Pokmon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages. 2017 Pokmon the Movie: I Choose You 2016 Pokmon the Movie: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel. There's a lot of inside jokes and the likes. 2020 Pokmon: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution. Ash, Misty, Brock and Pikachu face Mewtwo, a bioengineered Pokémon, and the super-Pokémon it has created. You may have watched the latest Pokémon animated movie, Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes BackEvolution, on Netflix, but now you can watch the original movie that inspired the CGI reimagining on Pokémon TV. If you are a long time Pokémon fan you will love this movie, but if you don't like Pokémon, if Pokémon doesn't really interest you or the small chance that you've never heard about it, most of the movie will not be very interesting. As the titel says, this movie is great, but only if you like Pokémon.
